Serena graduated suma cum laude and Aldan began his freshman year. Serena is moving back home to help Mary out around the house.

Aldan was out back fishing at the pond when puberty struck with a rush of hormones. Suddenly he's on the phone and computer all hours of the day and night, chatting up girls.

Serena is gone for college, it's so quiet in the house now. Aldan always has his nose buried in books. I'm still not speaking to Mary, especially after what she pulled this time. She's trying to guilt Serena into moving back home after college. Told her that we needed her to move back home to help with Aldan. I hope Serena didn't buy into it. Heck Aldan will be ready to leave for college by the time Serena graduates.

Suddenly, I look as old as I feel. It just seemed to happen over night. Mary is as beautiful as ever in her twilight years, though she hasn't seemed to slow down. If anything, I think she goes out more now than before. I just don't know what to do anymore. Maybe if I were home more, Mary would find it harder or atleast more awkward to slip off to wherever she goes. I've recently noticed that while we have a beautiful home, it is very plain. Maybe I will retire, and take up gardening. Other than a few orchard trees, our yard has no vegetation at all. Serena has grown into a beautfil teen. She's become a big help with Aldan now that I'm too old and slow to keep up with an active boy.

Little Amelia has grown up and left the nest. Where has the time gone? I can't help but worry about the kind of dorm Amelia has moved into with the display we witnessed. A new batch of flowers has arrived on the door step. I just don't know what to do anymore.

The thought of Mary dating other guys just makes my blood boil. I've been pouring myself into my work instead of dealing with her. When they needed someone to work the Tech Support phone line on Christmas day, I readily volunteered ... just to get away from that woman before I exploded. I guess my boss saw it as willing to go the extra distance for my job since he promoted me to game designer as a result.

The flowers that I gave Mary have been sitting at the front door since our date years ago. I just took them for granted, never paying much attention to the fact that they were there. Today it dawned on me that they were multiplying. The other two are from different guys! Young, college-age guys! No wonder Mary is being evasive as to where she is spending her time! It's not that she can't remember but the fact that she won't admit to it! That two faced, lying, back-stabbing tramp!!

All the kids are getting so big, especially Aldan. Seems like just yesterday he was still in diapers. Mary is still having "bouts" of unexplained absences/time. I've been begging her to see a doctor but she says she is fine.

My little girl is growing up. She's ready to start high school and it won't be much longer before she heads to college. I suddenly feel so old. I know that I've already been through this with Karen and Donna and it shouldn't be such a big deal. I guess the difference is that now I am feeling my age.

I'm getting a little worried about Mary. Suddenly she is losing chunks of time and her memory is fading in and out it seems. Like the other day, for example, she ran to the store for groceries. She was gone for 5 hours and came back empty handed! She said that it had completely slipped her mind. We aren't that far off from becoming elders, I hope she's not going senile or something.

Komei and Denise moved out, there's a little breathing room around here now. Serena and Aldan both celebrated milestone birthdays this year.

Never a dull moment around here. Mary finally had a boy! He's so adorable and looks just like me, I think. Komei seems like a decent enough chap. He actually made an honest woman out of Denise. He told me that he really appreciates my letting them stay there while they save towards a house of their own and insisted on paying rent. Though I'm sure their savings will take a while now that Denise has had their little girl. Life is definately going to be interesting with two infants in the house.

Changes in the household this year. Can't say I'm happy about either one of them. Of course, I'm happy about Donna going to college, just hate the thought that she is growing up. I wish she could stay my sweet little girl. Denise invited her boyfriend to move in. I was hoping she would move out, not bring more people in!

Mary threw the party this time around and it still stunk. She'd invited some guy, no clue who he is. She said we'd had the party too early, Karen was still at work. Castor was the only other person she knew well enough that would actually come. Guy looks a little dodgy to me, and I don't like the way he was watching Mary. Denise is definately pregnant. Hope she doesn't expect me to support her kid too, bad enough she's still living here.

Karen is just like her old man. It brought a tear to my eye to see her in such a hurry to go start learning. I talked Mary into one more try for a boy. I hope we get it, I really don't think I'll be able to talk her into another one. I'd be willing to bet that Denise has managed to get herself in the family way as well. She started running to the toilet not long after Komei Tellerman spent the night. Somehow I doubt he just gave her the flu, like mother like daughter I guess.

Aww, isn't Serena beautiful? Mary is thinking about getting 'fixed', says it's my turn to try squeezing something the size of a watermelon out of my nether regions. I would like to try once more for a boy though.

We're really striking out in the parent department this year. We forgot all about Donna and Amelia's birthdays. Prolly would have been a lousy party anyways.

A very eventful day in our house. One of both joy and sorrow. Mary gave birth in the wee hours of the morning. Little Amelia is as sweet as she is gorgeous. That evening we had an unexpected visit from the grim reaper. I sure don't think mom was wanting to meet him already. The house is pretty much finished. I'll take a picture of it come spring. Even though the girls have their own rooms now, Donna was in our room using Mary's easel. So we made use of the now vacant tent for a little woohoo. Note to self: Buy the girls an easel. I about froze my butt off. I think Mary caught the flu after a night spent in the cold. She keeps throwing up.

Another lousy birthday party. Only one person showed up, and I didn't even invite her. Karen had gotten all hot and sweaty after doing the smustle and was just coming out of the shower when she grew up. We ended up throwing away the cake. Think I'll leave the party plans to Mary from now on. Atleast then her friend Karen would come. But poor Mary was just too miserable to bother with the party. Pregnancy sure doesn't agree with her, she's always hungry and tired.

We had a birthday party for Donna. It was pretty lousy actually. I had invited some of the neighborhood kids, but none of them showed up. Apparently knowing their parents doesn't help if you don't know THEM. As you can see, our house is still in pretty sad shape. We're all working as security guards (except mom, she stays home with the kids) until we can find the jobs we actually want.

I just don't understand Mary sometimes. She wanted to move to a new place, you can't get any newer than our house. Granted it is still pretty rough, but it will be beautiful when it is finished. We don't even have an oven yet, and I had a small accident with the barbecue. Luckily nothing else caught on fire. I scooped up Donna and ran outside the house while mom put the fire out. Guess we should invest in a smoke alarm, or atleast a phone.
