1703

Lots of important birthdays this year. Carl and Colton prepare to start high school. Doesn't seem that long ago that I was still changing their diapers. Kendall is ready for nursery school, but I think I'll keep him home with me. I'm going to take the time to enjoy having a little one around the house. Kendall will be my last baby and for once there isn't a houseful of toddlers and kids so I can relax and enjoy this stage of his childhood. Titus and Julius have left for college. I knew the boys were ranbunctious but the house is a lot quieter than I expected. It seems so weird, I never thought that I would miss the noise.

Karen Williams died the other day. She was a good friend of my mother's. In fact, I was named after her, have I ever mentioned that? I was too young to really remember how things were right after the depression, but Karen was the one who rallied our town. She will be missed by many.

1701

Garrett graduated with full honors, I'm so proud of him. Remington has been a bit depressed lately. I think he feels a bit like he is being put out to pasture now that Garrett is home to assume head of household status. Kendall's birth really brought him back to life though.

1700

Sunshine has left for Sim State University. Garrett will be graduating later this year. I haven't noticed it since they were toddlers, but Titus and Julius are almost identical. Titus had pulled his hair back to work out and I mistook him for Julius. I caught this pic of the two of them side by side. Although, I have noticed that Titus has been letting his beard grow a little fuller now. I think it annoyed him that I mistook him for Julius.

1699

Titus & Julius have become teens. First thing the did was argue over who would use my wishing well. Julius wanted to wish for money, while Titus wished for romance. I couldn't resist, I had to grab the video camera to catch it on video.

1698

They say be careful what you wish for, and they aren't just whistling dixie! I'm pregnant again! Holy cow, I'd figured I was getting too old for it. I guess it is to be expected though. After 6 children and 22 years of marriage, Remington and I are still very much in love. We don't have as much time for intimacy with 6 kids of course, but we still find some time for it.

1696

Garrett left for college. Where has the time gone? I feel so old all of a sudden. Sunshine has turned into one of those teen girls that you try to keep your sons away from. All she is interested in is dating and whatever she finds pleasure in. Where did I go wrong with her? Maybe I was too busy with the twins and didn't pay her enough attention?

1695

My babies are starting school. I will miss having toddlers in the house. We would love more children, but there really isn't any room in the household. Maybe once Garrett leaves for college ...

1692

Garrett has gotten so tall and is starting high school next year. He is just like me, always has his nose in a book studying something or other. His college will be paid for by scholarships for sure, which is much needed. It will take a small fortune to send all of our kids to college.

Julius has started pulling his hair back. It is still longer than I would like, but atleast it doesn't look quite as wild as Titus's hair.

1691

So many twins, so little time. Atleast Titus & Julius will start school next year, but Carl & Colton have started crawling and I still need to chase after them. *sigh* I love the boys to death but will be glad when they are all in school so that I can relax a bit.

1689

I'm starting to wonder if Remington is slipping some cheesecake into those grilled cheese sandwiches he is always making. We had another set of twin boys, which we named Carl and Colton.

1688

Sunshine had a wonderful birthday party. She seemed to grow up into a happy and well adjusted child.

1687

Remington thinks it's cute to dress the twins alike but OMG I can barely tell them apart anymore. They are cute little devils though, and amazingly close for their age.

1685

Handsome and adorable enough to be twins. So I gave them strong names to balance the pretty boy faces. I have a feeling that we can expect great things from both Titus and Julius.

1684

Garrett and Sunshine both celebrated important birthdays this year. It's such a relief to have Garrett out of diapers before the new baby comes.

1682

Isn't she just beautiful? We named her Sunshine because she can make the gloomiest days seem sunny. Remington is just tickled pink to finally be getting the large family he had always dreamed of. And you'll never guess what? I'm already pregnant again!

1680

Garret is growing quickly and soon won't need me taking care of him all day. But that is probably for the best as the new baby will be arriving soon!

1678

Little Garret was born fairly early in the morning, Remington had just left for work. We spent most of the evening just staring at him in awe, he's so beautiful! I've already got another bun in the oven, Garrett's little brother or sister. Remington has his heart set on having atleast 6 children. That's not going to leave me much time for a career. Hopefully I can find a hobby that I enjoy and can earn some money at.

1676

We ended up having a small wedding with just mom, dad, Donna, and aunt Karen. I'm already starting to show a little bit, but we can't wait for our baby to finally arrive!

1675

Oh, I couldn't be happier. Remington and I have moved in together, and will be married next year!

1674

Graduated at last, with a 4.0 GPA to boot, yippee! I had a great party, even though I left my guests to spend some cuddling time with Remington.

1673

I have been so looking forward to my senior trip! The only thing that I had regretted was being away from Remington for so long. But he completely surprised me by showing up at my hotel! We've had so much fun seeing the sights, dancing, enjoying the local food, we met a wise old man that had a wonderful story to tell, and I even learned to teleport!

1672

I know we've been spending a lot of time together, but I never imagined he would propose! Remington teased that it was the first time he'd ever seen me speechless. He sadly added that he wasn't sure it was a good thing. He told me to take my time and to think it over. He said he realizes that I'm a genius college student (as if!) and he's just the hired help. It really tugged at my heart strings as he has become so much more to me than just the man that cleans the dorm. I told him that I didn't need any time to think. Of course I would marry him, I just had never dared to dream he would ask!

1671

I fell asleep in the common room while pulling an all nighter studying. I awoke to find the young man who cleans our dorm sitting at the table pouring over my Biology text. I asked what he was doing. He jumped up and said he was just trying to clean the drool marks off my book for me. I wanted to die of embarassment. He blushed too, at the thought that that was the best excuse he could come up with. We laughed and introduced ourselves. Remington isn't like any of the other boys I've met before. Probably because he isn't a boy, but still. He couldn't go to college so settles for cleaning the dorms and reading books that are left lying out. I find myself hoping to run into him and am often disappointed to learn that he has come and gone while I am at class.

1670

Oh, I couldn't wait for dad to drop me off at the dorm, I hope he didn't take it personally. I don't think the administration had much hope for me as I was the first student allowed in that didn't meet the entrance requirements. Thank goddess they dropped those, and I proved them wrong to boot. I not only finished my freshman year with a 4.0 but also did enough work in the greenhouse to earn my gold badge. Karrie is still only interested in boys. She brought a couple over here with her. Honestly, I think she was hoping I would take one off her hands.

1665

I just don't understand the girls in my class. Boys Boys Boys! That's all they ever talk about. There's so much more out there to learn about. I guess grandma's death kind of drove that point home. Life is short. Will you be ready to face the grim reaper when he comes? I sure plan to be.

1662

I dunno, I didn't think the party was all that bad. We had tons of fun doing the smustle. Especially watching grandma and old Mrs. Sullivan trying to figure it out, that was a riot!
