Due to an unsatisfactory level of enrollment, we have decided to suspend our entrance requirements until further notice. But this no longer guarantees that students will have sufficient study habits to graduate with ease. Any student on academic probation forfeit their right to attend the senior trip.
Frank is proud that Kathleen waits for him to get home from work, before heading off to college. He takes advantage of the situation and takes her to the Landgrabb House himself for some last minute bonding. After he returns, Hannah moves out without a word while Frank is asleep.
Karen gives birth to a son, Ned. With her mother busy taking care of the babies, and her father off Goddess-knows-where, Karrie arrives at the Fiesta Hall alone.
Karen is thrilled to be in college. She quickly declares her major, Biology, and gets to work in the greenhouse. She becomes a garden club member and earns her gold gardening badge before finishing her freshman year with a 4.0 GPA. Karrie introduced her to the Davis brothers, but neither party was interested. In fact, they all gagged at the prospect.
With Karen busy taking care of the babies, and her father off Goddess-knows-where, Karrie arrives at the Fiesta Hall alone. But not for long. The Davis brothers, Aldric and Almeric, arrive looking for wives amungst the Port Riverwalk students. Karrie finds herself in a pickle, as she has double lightening bolts to both brothers and isn't sure which to choose.
Kathleen is enjoying the freedom of dorm life. Out from under her father's roof she can cut the little angel act. She quickly employs the gypsy's matchmaking services, only pays $37 each for both dates so far, and was delivered someone she was mildly attracted to on both occassions. She also isn't interested in either of the Davis brothers, but instead sets her sights on her art professor, hoping for an easy A now that fall is over.
