I've been feeling very old lately. Ruth left for college this year. Obadiah has started crawling. I've found that I'm getting too old and stiff to sit on the floor and play with him much. Jonah is doing well in school and will be graduating at the end of the year.

I think Jackie is in a happier place now. She never really recovered from Andrea's death. It certainly looked like she was headed for an eternity of happiness and parties.

It's a boy!! and she named this one Obadiah *smacks forehead* I should have taken her to the hospital and had her doped up so that I could name this one. Jonah called, he's doing well in school. Said he has made some great friends with other kids there from our neighborhood.

I think Jonah was leaning towards skipping college and getting married right after high school. He seems very family oriented. He said that I had managed to become an educated man without going to college. I told him how I wanted him to have opportunities that I had never had, he must have bought it since he enrolled in LFT. Ezra is starting school soon and I'd better enjoy this breif period of time with no diapers or stinking potty chairs, Genesis is due any year now.

Ruth is starting high school this year. She seems very interested in learning so I shouldn't need to worry about her grades.

I guess I'm not as old and useless as I thought I was since becoming an elder. My hobby shop has acheived a top rank, and Genesis is pregnant again. Not sure we need anymore kids, but sure is nice to know I'm still virile.

Where has the time gone. Suddenly I am an old man who has only accomplished half of what I set out to accomplish. Jonah will be headed off to college soon, and Ruth has started grade school.

Ezra is crawling already. Seems like she was just born a couple of days ago. Jackie retired from her job and has done nothing but meditate since Andrea died. Jonah has become a strapping young teen who seems overly concerned about family already at his age.

Genesis gave birth to another girl, which she named Ezra. Jackie's friend, Andrea, passed away. I think it has hit her pretty hard.

A little over dressed for the life of a toddler, but Esther is as cute as a bug in a rug, or something. I took Jonah to the businesses with me. He was great at the Market, he helped bring in the crops, and fished like a real trooper. But at the christmas shop he just sat in the truck and played with the radio *sigh*

The kids are growing up fast, Ruth especially had a serious growth spurt. Genesis is pregnant again, I hope this is the last one. By the time I get home from work, and hear about the kids' & Genesis's day, I have no energy left to make rounds on the businesses.

Genesis gave birth to a little girl that she named Esther. Is it just me or are all of our children named after books in the bible?

Jonah and Ruth are both getting very big. I think Genesis was a little ticked off that I, as usual, was on the phone with my assorted managers when it was time for Ruthie's birthday. The businesses aren't exactly going to run themselves though are they?

Genesis had a little cutie that she named Ruth. Jacqueline has been voted Mayor of Port Riverwalk, something that she has always dreamed of.

I've bought my 5th business, now just to get them all running smoothly. I've earned all the business perks available. Honestly, it's kind of a let down though. There's no longer the thrill of a new perk when I gain a rank.

Jonah is becoming quite a strapping young lad. Mom keeps pushing for more grandchildren. Genesis is pregnant again, has been pregnant. Mom knows it takes 3 years to have a baby, I don't know what more she wants from me. Geez, I can't wait until Frankie and Jackie graduate and get married so mom has someone new to nag. "Dad" on the other hand, has invited her "special friend" Andrea to live with us. I'm not sure why, but it's weird seing Jackie with someone besides mom, even though I had no qualms about mom marrying Frank. Guess I'll save that revelation for the next time the Sim Shrink visits.

Jackie seems listless and unwanted now that she's become an elder. I guess I should make more time for her, but there's only so many hours in the year for work, businesses, skills, badges, Genesis, and now Jonah too. I wish I could clone myself like back in the olden days before sims lost the ability to make magic.

Genesis gave me an heir .. I mean son. She named him Jonah and he is absolutely perfect.

It dawned on me that with everyone starting to concentrate on their hobbies, I should open the very first hobby shop in town. It's not much yet, but not too bad considering that it started as an empty lot.

Honestly, I never really thought much about marriage, but now my life seems almost complete. I was worried about inviting mom and Frank, but they are my family too. Genesis pointed out that our wedding was about US and not my parents and that I should invite whomever I wanted. I took her advice, and everyone was civil, though there was a brief moment where Jackie was flirting with her new friend, I suspect it was an attempt to make mom jealous.

We had decided to skip the honeymoon for several reasons. Mainly I shouldn't be away from the businesses that long, but also because the only vacation spot available for the time being is Three Lakes, and I'd rather go to the islands. Although mom says it is absolutely beautiful at Three Lakes, maybe we will go there some day.

Genesis came to see the new business. Life is going so well, I couldn't help myself. I just blurted it out, asking if she would marry me. She put her arms around me and said yes! of course she would! We'll be getting married next year.

Business is going so well that I've managed to buy a third! Genesis Monif and I have been seeing quite a bit of each other. She comes to the market and helps me with the plants or just hangs out and fishes with me. She seems to realize that I don't have much time for socializing since she always comes to the market to see me. I really don't have much time for a family, but I would like a son. I think Genesis would make a good wife for me as she doesn't seem to mind helping out in the businesses.

I've made enough at Little and Local to buy a second business. Getting the Best of the Best Award really helped my reputation. The new store has a green house, orchard, and a pond, everything that I need for the business. Though it may take a while before I harvest enough stock to run the store on a full time basis. On a personal note, I had a real cutie come into the store the other day. I just might ask her out one night soon.

They've been fighting a lot ever since the twins were born. It really wasn't much of a shocker that mom left. I decided to stay with Jackie. I think it made mom sad. I told her not to take it personally but she was getting a chance at a new life, and to grab it. It's not like we won't ever see each other, we're gonna be right next door to each other. I really don't think Jackie would take it so well if I had left too. Maybe if gramma was still here, but ... I just figured it was best if I stayed put.

I know I said that I wouldn't, but .... Hannah invited me to her birthday party after all, so I invited her to mine. Plus, I thought she might like to see her nephews. Think I got an extra surge of testosterone when I became an adult. All I could think about was woohoo. And Hannah was right there, still as easy (if not more so) as when we were teens. We snuck upstairs for some fun. As if that wasn't bad enough, we had risky woohoo. I don't know what I'm going to do if she ends up pregnant. That's the last thing I need right now.

The house is looking a lot nicer. It's pretty much done now, including a nice sized nursery added in mom's room. I don't understand why Jackie won't let Frank see the twins. He is their father after all. I know that I wish my real father wanted to visit me. Of course, for all I know he's dead and CAN'T visit. Even though I knew how Jackie felt, I invited the entire household over to visit. Besides, I figured Frank's being here would be a nice diversion so that the folks wouldn't notice if I disappeared with Hannah. I've heard she was easy, but I had no idea. I got that first kiss right out of the way. But it's kind of weird with her brother being the father of my brothers. I know there's no actual blood relation but it still kinda gives me the creeps.

I bought my first business. It's name is certainly true, it's little and it's local. Mom is still nagging me about college, but I'm definately going to skip it. I was hoping that with having my own business mom would realize that I didn't NEED college. But between work and school I haven't had much time to go there, so it's hardly very impressive just yet.

Well, it's not much, but it's ... not much. Grandma managed to dig up two treasure chests and the place is almost livable now. I've been a little stressed to be honest. It's a lot to hold down a part time job, do my homework, AND study for college. I'm half tempted to skip college. Granted it would help find me a better paying job, but what I really want is to run my own business. BusinessES - PLURAL. I don't need some fancy college degree to do that, just some starting capital. Which again, leads back to a better job.
