College really flew by fast. I've become completely enthralled with Laurie. She'd left school suddenly without a word, turns out she's going to be a mom! I'd always thought she and Stevie were together but she says they are just good friends. Wonder if she has told him that. Anyways, I've been seeing a LOT of her and the baby recently. I'm a little worried about trying to be a father to her baby, but I think I'd be a good dad. Here on the homefront, my little baby sister Esther is starting high school. She's all into home, hearth, boys, and family. It would be kind of cute, if it wasn't so frightening. | ||

I arrived at the dorm at the same time as a couple of the neighbors. I've seen them around school, but was never really close to them. Laurie & Stevie have been best friends since grade school. Sometimes I feel a little left out but another girl here at the dorm, Ashlee, always invites me to join them. There is another girl named Meadow. She's from town, not our neighborhood, and seems content to keep to herself. Even when we are all taking a dinner break from our studies, she will go sit at one of the other tables in the cafeteria though there is plenty of room at ours. | ||
